Lily-of-the-Valley is one of my favorite flowers due to thier sweet smell and fragrance. In France Muguets or (Lily-of-the-valley) is traditionally associated with May 1st and is handed out at special events while others offered it to thier loved ones, as a sign of "porte-bonheur" (goodluck) and happiness!

Sad to say but Halloween is not very popular in France unlike in the U.S. Here often adults and children wore "deguissement" only during carnavals which is held once a year. Bizarre huh!

Hello guys, sorry for not visiting your blogs lately. Am just really getting busy with my offline world and besides lots of things that needs to done here at home. It's spring break now and I've decided to send some stuffs (Balikbayan boxes) in pinas, so that by end of June darating na sa Cebu at nag hintay nalang sa amin. wink* I just don't like anymore travelling with lots of luggages kay kapoy kaau guroy2x sa train. lol*

What a bright and sunny day today! After all the rains, winds and snowfalls at last, here comes Mr Sunshine. hehehe* I was so busy this morning doing general cleaning.. glass windows are needed to be clean up plus I did the vacuumming too. My goodness! kapoy unta but I've no choice. Getting a (dh) here in France is so mahal kaau since they are paid/hr.. ang ako ibayad ako nalang tigumon. lol* Anyway, hubby and daughter helped me too with the housechores which is great! wink*

And being a woman, let us continue to be a positive role models and as we celebrate this special day, let us remember those women who live in countries where the so called "women's right" is unheard of... where women are not even allowed to speak let alone shout about their oppresions. lets please pray for them.
