I tried again calling her direct w/out passing thru voipcheap pero, mao gihapon. Hay! kinabuhi, murag life. hehehe* Anyway, I better try calling them some other time nalang.

my dear friends and visitors! just want to share with you my joy and excitement as we got today our airline tickets for our coming vacation in the Philippines this summer July - August 2008. We gonna be staying in Cebu for almost two months... sounds great! Once again, me and my family could enjoy the sunny climate, sandy white beaches, sinugba, kinilaw, tinulang isda and a lot more. my petunias

I love flowers, and petunia is one of them. I really like these plants because it reminds me of summer. hehehe*
Petunias are one of the best summer flowering annuals for massed display. It also looks good in pots and hanging baskets. This is a photo of me and my Petunias taken in our terrace way back 3 years ago.

mangoes

Mangoes is known to be the Philippines sweetest delight. Oh.. this is what i've miss in the Philippines aside from my family of course. wink* For me Philippine mangoes is surely the best. It grows mainly in the visayas region where i am originally.
This exotic tropical fruit popularly known to be yellow in color obtained its addictive taste through its meticulous harvest procedures. It matures after 3 months and a half from the time of its flower blooms, carefully handpicked while still green and harvested between 9am- 3pm to prevent rapid exudation of the latex. Mature mangoes turned fully ripe from 6-12 days after harvest.

EASY BAKED SALMON W/POTATOES (façon amy)

Ingredients :

4 salmon filets or steaks
1/2 white onions (cut into rings)
4 potatoes (thinly sliced)
1/2 yellow bell pepper
2 tbsp extra virgen olive oil
3 tbsp white wine
lemon juice
parsely flakes
salt & pepper

How to:

1. clean and pat dry salmon fish or filet
2. spray a shallow baking dish w/olive oil and put together potatoes and salmon filet or steak
3. add onions, bell peppers, parsely flakes,
4 sprinkle w/lemon juice & white wine.. making sure that it covers the fillet
5. add salt & pepper
6. preheat oven to 200 degrees celcius
7. cover the dish w/ aluminum foil and baked for about 20-25 mins or until potatoes are done.
8. serve with steamed rice
